JOB DESCRIPTION
As a Mechatronics Technician, you play a crucial role in the development, assembly, commissioning, and maintenance of installations, laboratory setups, and equipment (RD&I, COP). You work closely with the R&D team on various projects, utilizing your technical knowledge and creativity to optimize products from the conceptual phase to the final realization. You are responsible for supervision, development and construction, services, knowledge transfer, advice, and quality in the field of occupational health and safety (Arbo/HSE).
Your responsibilities include:
- Acting as a point of contact for assigned personnel (internal/external) and being responsible for the quality and quantity of the work delivered;
- Producing and assembling special (non-standard) components, equipment, and piping installations based on drawings, sketches, or verbal instructions;
- Performing maintenance, revisions, modifications, and ensuring the functionality of production, pilot plant, and laboratory setups.
- Identifying and troubleshooting malfunctions in process and laboratory installations, control systems, measurement and control circuits, and safety equipment;
- Making proposals for improvement of installations and/or installation components;
- Complying with occupational health and safety (Arbo) and QHSE regulations (both legal and company-specific) in a responsible and efficient manner;
To be eligible for this position, you need to have at least a vocational diploma (MBO) at level 4 in the field of Mechanics or Precision Mechanics, supplemented with relevant technical skills. Additionally, you should meet the following criteria:
- Strong awareness of safety aspects;
- Fluent in Dutch and good command of the English language;
- Preferably, experience working in a BRZO environment;
- Experience with ATEX guidelines;
- Independent, customer-oriented, results-oriented, quality-conscious, and able to handle stress.

- A gross base salary including vacation allowance ranging from EUR 37,300 to EUR 53,100 per year, based on knowledge and experience;
